Speaking at the forum chair person of the National organizing committee of the golden jubilee of the AU Professor Mokonen said Ethiopia has played a key role in strengthening Pan-Africanism and the establishment of OAU and AU and stress the need to give recognition to the country contribution to OAU and AU while celebrating the golden jubilee ,the country was providing financial, diplomatic and military training among others two Africans who were struggling for freedom, Ethiopia also contributed to the success of the objective of the OAU to end all forum of colonization in Africa after the transformation from OAU to AU the country has continued contributing share to archive the main goals of the AU to maintain good governance ,fight poverty, build democrat institution and bring about economic growth. the organization of African unity founded May 1963 on May 26 2001 the organization was legally transformed in to AU.

The Enterprise signed an agreement with 40 shipping agents in a bit to increase a efficiency of the import- export trade of the nation, the agents drawn from 31 countries, speaking on the occasion Enterprise deputy director general chief Ato Ambaye said it is essential to work in cooperation with shipping agents to make the import-export trade of the country efficient ,the agreement provide strengthen fair trade relations between Ethiopia and the shipping agents, the Enterprise has purchase 9 ships at a cost of 300,24Million USD realize its goal in the growth and transformation plan, the 20% of the cost of the purchase was covered by the government of Ethiopia while the balance found from the Xian bank China on loan so far the Enterprise took delivery of 4 of the ships out of which 2 have already gone operational, the shipping agent have agreed to work to expand and strengthen Ethiopian trade relation with the best of the world.
