Authority transfers 116 mobile toilets to SMEs
The Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority (AAWSA) has handed over 116 mobile (portable) toilets to small and micros enterprises (SMEs) today.
The Authority also built 188 communal and 9 permanent public toilets in the first Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP) period. The plan was to build 1,000 toilets.
The remaining 687 toilets will be built this Ethiopian budget year.
The Authority spent 148 million birr to build the facilities.
The portable toilets transferred to SMEs have special rooms for men, women and people with disabilities. They have recreation areas and offer cafeteria services.
