Burkina Faso gov't promises "fair" trial for coup plotters
Burkina Faso government on Thursday gave a reassurance that those who organized last month's failed coup, led by Gen. Gilbert Diendere, will be tried in a "fair" process.
"All those arrested and charged in relation to the failed coup will be prosecuted in a fair process," the government said in a statement issued on Thursday evening.
