Bewketu Seyoum - Yaw New (ያው ነው) Funny and entertaining short story
Bewketu Seyoum is a very talented Ethiopian writer from Deber Marqos
(Mankusa). He published his first collection of poems, Newari Alba
Gojowoch (ኗሪ አልባ ጎጆዎች) in 2000. Since then, he has published two further poetry collections and two novels, and has narrated short stories on CD and a lot of them on various stages. In 2008, he received the best young writer award of Ethiopia from the President. He is a social critic, very insightful and very expressive in his writings!
