DireTube News - Ethiopia to export transformers
The Ethiopian Power Engineering Industry (EPEI) run under Metals and Engineering Corporation (METEC) announced its plan on Sunday to soon provide Ethiopian made transformers for export to neighbouring countries.
EPEI inaugurated a 350 million Birr transformer production line at Oromia State's Burayu Town. The construction of the line took 20 months to complete and is expected to create job opportunities for 1,200 citizens.
