DireTube News Africa Hall, 1st complex of ECA to be museum
The United Nation Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) has decided to renovate the Africa Hall, the first ECA complex in Addis Ababa and make it a museum.ECA has allocated 56 million USD for its renovation, ECA Executive Secretary, Dr. Carlos Lopez said reporters after helding discussions with President Dr Mulatu Teshome here yesterday.The Africa Hall was built by Emperor Hailesilassie I in 1961 along with the Addis Ababa City Hall to show for the middleclass that it is possible to construct grand buildings that meet European standards here in Ethiopia and invest in the construction area.The Emperor donated the Africa Hall to ECA during its establishment and has been served as it’s headquarter since then.DireTube is the Largest online Media in Ethiopia Since 2008
