The National Meteorology Agency said it is going to install modern weather forecast radar station around Tana Beles to prevent threats of flooding in the River Nile basin.Agency Meteorological Forecast and Early Warning Director, Dr. Diriba Koricha, told ENA that the radar was bought at a cost of about 80 million birr obtained from World Bank.The agency has plans to buy six similar radars, it was indicated.
