Ethiopia Womens Federation Established in Adama - Ethiopian News

Speaking at the opening of  the first assembly of the Federation the Education minister Demeke mokunen  says Currently women’s  are contributing on the ongoing effort to maintain peace, speedup development and build democracy in the country  also says the Government over years try to increase participation of women in development activities  and to ensure there benefit, deputy chief of the Oromia state says 1.5million women in the state are organized in Association to curve socio economical    problems they are facing. the Federation president Azeb  Mesfin  says  effort  of the Government  to empower women and enable them to participate in discussion making are baring fruits and called on women’s Association at all levels and stake holders to work on collaboration to reduce poverty.
